Geenzefest on 25 May 2026 – A day like in a movie
Whit Monday in Wiltz is traditionally dedicated to the Geenzefest. The celebration honours the blooming broom, which colours large parts of the landscape around the town in spring and gives the Éislek its distinctive character.
The Geenzefest combines tradition with entertainment. A parade with decorated floats is just as much part of the event as musical performances and social gatherings. The celebration has a long tradition in Wiltz and attracts many visitors every year.
